Introduction:

The Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 brought a structured timeline for implementation across various sections and states. Understanding these timelines is essential for promoters, agents, and allottees.
This section outlines the important dates and schedules under RERA, including notifications, enforcement stages, and compliance deadlines that shape the regulatory framework. All builders / promoters are required to mandatory comply and adhere to the below referenced schedules. Failing to do so can result in penalties and even cancellation of registrations in certain cases.

    Certificates need to be obtained from registered Engineers, Architects and Practicing Chartered Accountants. The same needs to be submitted for each withdrawal of funds from the RERA Designated bank account.

    Reporting of Completion

    On completion of Reporting of Completion

    On completion of 100% development (internal and development) works in the project. Report within the same quarter of completion

    Prior / postapproval of the authority for any modification in the Registration Application depending on the modification/ amendment.

    Within three months from the date of issue of occupancy certificate.

    Structural Defect warranty by the Promoter

    Five years from the date of handing over to the allottee

    Promoter to rectify such defects without further charge, within thirty days from the date of notice
